Popplio builds Snow-Pokemon

Popplio builds Snow-Pokemon!! I had a lot of fun doing this and I was really surprised it only took me 3 hours to do! There was even some natural sunlight available this rainy Florida winter. I included a low light picture so you could see some shimmer action.

I used Sinful Colors Cinderella (like a billion coats, I should have learned to put this over a light blue base by now!) and the rest is acrylic paints. I freaking love how the bow turned out, and my snow-Pokemon were pretty easy, the hardest part was their tiny scarves. Popplio’s body is a weird shape and took me a billion tries but WHOO! We did it!

All in all I’m really happy with this design. And because my fiance is amazing, while I was sick he bought me Pokemon Sun early!!! So I’ve been playing pretty much every free chance I get (Private Message me if you’d like to trade!!).

A Pokemon Sun/Moon Christmas!

I haven’t done Pokemon nails in a while so why not now that I’m waiting on Pokemon Sun! I started with Rowlet because I KNOW for sure that this is my starter. I love all the starters but I’m partial to owls. I mean just look at how cute he is!!

So I had to do some Rowlet Christmas nail art to hold me over. I freakin love them but they were super detailed so I didn’t even bother with my other hand.

The green polish is Sinful Colors San Francisco and everything else is acrylic paint. I kind of want to do the rest of the Sun & Moon starters now. Maybe Popplio building snowmen (or snow-Pokemon!), Litten in a stocking?

 I decided to do a full hero instead of tags and related designs. It was pretty hard!! The face is the only thing I’m super bummed about but it ended up a lot better than I thought it would be halfway through painting, lol.

I used three colors for the background Sinful Colors Snow Me White, and gradient Sugar Rush as well as Sally Hansen Blue Me Away. Mercy and the rest are acrylic paints.

I think this all boils down to needing better brushes but it looks cute and it’s instantly recognizable that it’s Mercy!! I rushed through the thumbnail but meh. I just need to practice letters.

Pharah Overwatch Nails!

hehehe. YAY! More Overwatch nail art! Pharah’s main skin for her character has a blue color so I chose Finger Paints Surfs UP. It actually has a really pretty deep purple shift which I’m pretty famous for never being able to photograph.

She also has this neat cobra tag that I tried my best to copy, all those LINES!! haha it drove me crazy. 

I really love Pharah though, she’s a solid character in the game and I always feel really rewarded when I get those 60+ direct rocket hits!

Not sure which female hero I’ll do next, probably Mercy but we’ll see! If you have any ideas comment!!

Tracer Overwatch Nails!

I’ve been sewing for my niece’s second birthday and crafting away so these are well overdue! Here I am though, following through (Pharah will be around the corner here shortly)!

I used 3 colors for the background Salon Perfect Yowza Yellow, Kleancolor Neon Orange, and China Glaze Roguish Red and the rest is acrylic paint.

I used a different light setting for these other two images to show the depth of the gradient.

It’s been rainy for the past few days here so I couldn’t get any outside pictures which really show it off, so I think this was the closest I could get. I was a little crunched for time so I think what I’d do differently next time is probably put a little Cheers Luv on the thumb with maybe the grav bomb symbol.

All in all I think I did a good job given my time frame and my starting to fray to bits brushes. I really need some new ones!!

Lets Start a Blizzard!

Mei Overwatch nails comin at ya!

I cant get over her weather modification drone Snowball and how freakin absolutely precious he his. I’m working on a digital painting of him which will probably take a million years but in the mean time I had to do some Snowball nails for Mei.

I used the Snow Plum Skin colors because that is my favorite Mei skin an pink Snowball is extra cute. :3 The polish colors I used are Sinful Color’s Sugar Rush with two coats of Sally Hansen’s Lets Get Digital. I’ve used lets get digital a few times in the past couple months but I cant help it, it’s sooooo pretty and it fit Mei perfectly.

Over all I’m really happy with how Snowball turned out. I think I should have made the background more contrasting probably so I’ll keep that in mind for Tracer. I will eventually end up doing all of the characters but I started with my favorites first. So far I’m LOVING the game and I’ve sunk way too many hours into it. lol

I probably enjoy playing Mei the most, but I play D.Va almost as much. I’m trying to cycle all of the characters though because they’re all just so unique and fun. I hope you enjoyed my second Overwatch nail art, and if you did keep a look out for Tracer next!

Sorry, but it’s almost here!! So I had to do some D.Va inspired nails for release. 

I love her spray too!! UGH it’s so cuteeee (I loveeee bunnies so much). I used Finger Paints Where Art My Love and Color Show’s Impeccable Grey (I freakin love this grey btw), the white is acrylic paint. I also use ILNP’s My Private Rainbow over the pink.

Stardew Valley Junimo!

It’s a little late posting this here!! Shame on me! I know. 😦

Someone on r/stardewvalley said “Junimo nails next pls!” and so here I am, delivering junimo nails! They are not as detailed as my chicken and fence nails but they are still super cute. I tried to do one of every color I could find in the game searching through random videos where the community center was being finished.

It took a while but I finally decided on some colors only repeating the blue one because there are like a million blue ones in the game so why not. I also did my other hand, as challenging as it was lol, and I fixed my thumb nail. Yay!

I loveeeee this polish color, Sinful Colors Proescco. Which btw, if you didn’t know, is an Italian sparkling wine. I had to google it because I was curious and now I totally want some!  The junimo are acrylic paint.

I’m really happy with how these turned out and they were quick and fairly easy to do. I’ve been painting a massive image for my dnd character or I would have done them a lot sooner.

Stardew Valley

In case you don’t know about Stardew already, if you have any inkling of what Harvest moon is this is basically the same game but in my opinion better. I decided to do the game’s Steam logo banner image though, because lets face it that is one cute chicken.

I LOVE this game. I’m pretty much addicted. I play it so much that I had my background gradient done for like a week before I actually painted on the chicken and the fence and stuff. It’s really fun but you’ll get sucked into a loop of “let me just finish doing this one thing then I’ll sleep and save”.

I used three polish colors, Klean color Neon Aqua, Pure Ice Scream, and Rimmel London’s Mintilicious (which was basically covered by mountains so I could have done with out it). Everything else is acrylic paint. ALSO… I broke my thumbnail on my other hand so I only did one hand! lol

SFV ~ Cammy’s critical art!

I played a little Street Fighter 4 but I was prettty bad. I couldn’t play my fiance without raging and wanting to chuck the controller across the room. Thankfully SFV is not quite as hard or maybe it’s new enough that I can actually do fundamentals and link moves together.

For SFV I decided to do an art since I never did one for SFIV. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out too (aside from my wonky + but I did it 200 times and I just gave up). I was going to do glitter because I can’t stay away from it but I did it. I only used one polish Revlon Colorstay Pale Cashmere (The rest of it is acrylic paint.).

I wouldn’t recommend it unless you absolutely love the color, even then I bet you could find something less streaky and doesn’t take 50 coats. I’m lazy and I have too much polish so I just roughed it.
